The Cameron Dragons will be well represented at the MSHSAA state wrestling championship next week with ten wrestlers qualifying for the Class 2 tournament in Columbia.
The Cameron wrestling team wrapped up the dual match portion of their schedule with three wins on senior night Thursday at CHS.
Last Friday, members from Pemberton-Reynolds-Voris Post 7158 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Cameron presented Cameron Veterans Middle School students with awards for placing in the annual Patriot's Pen essay contest.
The Missouri Veterans Home in Cameron recognized Judy Reynolds as its Employee of the Year for 2015 during a ceremony Jan. 22.
Lights Cameron Action, the Cameron High School show choir, traveled to Pleasant Hill on Jan. 23 to compete at the Battle of the Best. The festival featured over 30 choirs from Class 1A to 5A. The show choir took the stage at 4:10 p.m.
