COVID-19 Update from the Mayor (05/15/20)

The Mayor's informational updates regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.

**CURRENT UPDATE**

To: The Residents of the City of Cameron

I want to update my letter of Wednesday, May 13th to tell you that curbside recycling pick-up will not begin on Monday, May 18th as originally planned due to circumstances beyond our control.  We anticipate resuming again after June 1st, but I will give you the precise details of this as we get closer.

I also want to thank the Park Board for their efforts in finding a way to open our swimming pool while still remaining safe.  The Board plans to open the pool on June 1st, but are still working on the details.  Please watch our website for these details.

As our COVID-19 numbers remain low, I again want to thank our residents for helping to limit the spread of this virus in our community.  I deeply appreciate your patience as we continue to go through these challenging times.

Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions you may have at City Hall (816) 632-2177.

Sincerely,

Darlene Breckenridge, Mayor
