Dragons held scoreless against MEC foes
The Cameron High School Dragon Soccer Team continues looking for its first win after a pair of mercy-rule losses to Midland Empire Conference foes Chillicothe and Maryville.
The latest loss came in the 2021 home opener against arch rival Chillicothe, who ended Tuesday’s match 3 minutes into the second half after taking the score to 8-0.
“We have the right thought processes. We’re working out of the back and connecting passes. It’s just getting the players that are off of the ball into position to win the ball,” Cameron coach Jason Welch said.
