Area Artisan Search

Several weeks ago Area Artisan column reached out to the community in search of local artists. Covering a wide variety of artists over the last few weeks including several painters, photographers and sculpture artists. 

Many people responded with suggestions of artists to highlight.

This week we are reaching out again to see if there is a local artisan to interview and explore their art techniques.
Don’t feel limited to the traditional aspects of art. If you know of someone that has a unique talent let us know. Whether it be large or small, big or tall we want it all. We want to hear about that quilter, sculptor, metal fabricator, painter, muralist, floral designer and more.  Let your imagination flow. If you know of a poet, singer or dancer that has risen above the average and excels at what they love, please share that person’s talent.
Art is a range of activities that create visual, auditory or performing artifacts that help to express the artist’s imagination and ideas.  It raises awareness to causes, influences moods and emotions, and is often a healing tool.  Though the definition of art is varied, the result is the same. Art is communication between us and the beauty of original and unique creations.
