Cameron Show and Tell

At the Monday, April 15, Mayor Breckenridge shared this letter she received:

Dear Mayor Breckenridge,

Hello, how are you? My name is Elena Crow and, I am a student in the West Greene School District, in Pennsylvania. My Social Studies teacher, Mr. Dalton, decided for my grade, to throw a piece of chalk at a United States map. We already did this in my Geography class and, last time I got De Soto Missouri. To be totally honest, I was kind of disappointed with my last package. I got an encyclopedia of Mark Twain because, I wrote to the Mark Twain National Forest. I hope that you could send me something a little bit better than that. I have some questions concerning this town.

Do you enjoy being mayor? What is the population of Cameron, Missouri? How long have you served as mayor? How many museums are in this location? Who is the founder of this location? What is your weather typically like?

I hope you enjoyed my letter I hope your day has gone for the best. I had fun writing this letter. Please send items back that stand/represent your town. Have an amazing day!

Sincerely,

Elena Crow

Mayor Breckenridge asks residents to bring items they believe represent Cameron and depict the history and spirit of the town to City Hall to be included in the package returned to Elena. There will be a box at City Hall to collect items until Friday, April 26.
