The Hamilton Achievers 4-H Club News
There were three members who attended the pillowcase making workshop on Thursday, December 27. The workshop was held at The Missouri Star Quilt Company Sewing Center in Hamilton. We would like to thank Valerie who organized the workshop, Bernice who conducted the workshop, and Molly who assisted where she was needed and cleaned up after us.
Anyone interested in leading a project please let Debbie know at our next meeting or for more information about becoming a volunteer.
If you have not signed up for a Host Family for 2019, you can sign up to be a duel Host Family. The Host Families are responsible for suppling snacks and arranging the meeting place for their specific monthly meeting and to also notify the members of meetings. The Host Families for January are the Park and Walker Families. Please sign up to be a host family for one of our meetings.
We need members to give demonstrations at our meetings and are also needing ideas for a fundraiser.
Please bring your photos of your 4-H project meetings, shows, or any 4-H related activities and a recent school picture to our next meeting. These photos will be used for the Items in the newspapers and our 2018-2019 scrapbook.
Upcoming Events:
Hand Quilting with Richard Evans 1-4- These classes will be held every Sunday afternoon until April at the Kidder UMC
January 21 - Sewing at MSQC Sewing center. 9-3 will be making tea towel aprons.
January 27 - Tentative date for January meeting. The Host Families are the Park
and Walker Families
February 1 - Youth in Agriculture Scholarship forms due to Northwest Regional
4-H Energizer, to be held at the Cameron Middle School from 8:30 a.m. 2:30 p.m.
Register ASAP to be sure to get the sessions you want. Debbie Davis will be sending out registration forms.
February 24 - Tentative date for our February meeting.
March TBA - Teen Conference
March 31 - Contest Day
