Xcel Gymnastics State Champions

The Xcel Gold Team from Northwest Gymnastics competed in the Missouri State Xcel Gymnastics Championship Meet March 29 and 30 at Union Station in Kansas City, Missouri and brought home the Gold!!! Individual scores and placements are as follows.

In the 7-8 age division:

MaKayla Marring (Excelsior Springs) placed 1st on Vault with a score of 9.475, 5th on the Uneven Bars with a score of 9.100, 2nd on the Balance Beam with a score of 9.450, 2nd on the Floor Exercise with a score of 9.350 and 1st All Around.  

In the 10A age division:

Pyper Layton (Excelsior Springs) placed 1st on the Balance Beam with a score of 9.525, 3rd on the Floor Exercise with a score of 9.075 and 2nd All Around.

In the 10D age division:

Madison McFall (Lawson) placed 1st on Vault with a score of 9.475, 1st on Uneven Bars with a score of 9.675, 2nd on the Balance Beam with a score of 9.450, 1st on the Floor Exercise with a score of 9.475 and 1st All Around.

In the 11A age division:

Aubryanna Allen (Lawson) placed 1st on the Uneven Bars with a score of 9.475, 1st on the Balance Beam with a score of 9.625, 1st on the Floor Exercise with a score of 9.700 and 1st All Around.  

Kaydence Schwab (Lawson) placed 2nd on the Floor Exercise with a score of 9.475 and 7th All Around.

In the 11D age division:

Elizabeth George (Excelsior Springs) placed 1st on the Balance Beam with a score of 9.500, 1st on the Floor Exercise with a score of 9.650 and 6th All Around.

Madison Laffey (Kearney) placed 5th on the Uneven Bars with a score of 9.400, 3rd on the Floor Exercise with a score of 9.300 and 8th All Around.

Payton Allen (Cameron) placed 6th on the Balance Beam with a score of 9.200 and 11th All Around.

In the 11E age division:  

Trinity Groom (Lawson) placed 3rd on Vault with a score of 9.275, 5th on the Uneven Bars with a score of 9.100, 1st on the Balance Beam with a score of 9.450, 1st on the Floor Exercise with a score of 9.475 and 1st All Around. 

In the 12B age division:

Lydia Pair (Lawson) placed 2nd on Vault with a score of 9.225, 4th on the Uneven Bars with a score of 9.400, 1st on the Floor Exercise with a score of 9.600 and 2nd All Around.

In the 12D age division:

Reese O’Dell (Orrick) placed 3rd on the Uneven Bars with a score of 9.450, 4th on the Balance Beam with a score of 9.200, 3rd on the Floor Exercise with a score of 9.275 and 3rd All Around.

In the 13B age division:

Abby McQuerrey (Kearney) placed 5th on Vault with a score of 9.200, 1st on the Balance Beam with a score of 9.525, 1st on the Floor Exercise with a score of 9.675 and 3rd All Around.

In the 15+ age division:

Annelise Kirkpatrick (Lathrop) placed 1st on the Uneven Bars with a score of 9.500, 1st on the Floor Exercise with a score of 9.375 and 3rd All Around.
