Pamela Lucille Curtis

Nov. 5 1947-June 12, 2020

Pamela Lucille Curtis passed away on Friday, June 12th.  

Pam was born in Cameron on November 5, 1947.  She grew up in Cameron and left Cameron High School to become a mother to her daughter Angela and later Jeff and Kevin.   Pam completed her high school diploma and went on to receive a bachelor's degree in education from Missouri Western State University, and later a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from University of California, Davis.

She taught elementary, middle and high school in Trenton, Missouri; Davis, California; Maui, Hawaii; Kansas City, Kansas and Albuquerque, New Mexico.  She was known for her commitment to children in need and was a strong advocate for her students.   

She is survived by her mother, Evelyn Brady King of St. Joseph and four siblings: Angela Curtis Helm of Lee's Summit, Becky Poland of Cameron, Barbara Heene of Lee's Summit and Brad Curtis of Gardener, Kansas. Other survivors include her daughter Angela Bedell of Leawood, Kansas and Jeff Robinson of Rocklin California, and seven grandchildren.  

Preceding her  in death was her youngest son, Kevin Robinson, who passed away January 9, 2015, and her father, James L Curtis.   

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory to Comfort Care Hospice, 1005 W 3rd Street, #4, Cameron MO 64429.
