Bridge Work Planned in Clinton County

LATHROP - As part of an ongoing resurfacing project, the bridge on Route 116 over Interstate 35 will be narrowed to one lane for the next three weeks. Beginning Monday, Sept. 14, crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation will narrow the I-35 bridge on Route 116 east of Lathrop for bridge repairs. Traffic will be guided through the work zone via traffic signals at either end of the bridge. The bridge will remain one lane around the clock throughout the duration of the project, which is anticipated to go through Oct. 2, 2015.

Motorists should be alert and follow all construction signs, message boards and traffic signals. All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change.
