Hamilton woman hurt in I-35 wreck
A resident of Hamilton was injured in a one-vehicle accident on Interstate 35 near Cameron Friday morning when her vehicle hydroplaned on the wet roadway.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 38-year-old Tina M. Regan was transported by Cameron Ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries.
The patrol reports the accident occurred at 8:10 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-35 at exit 52. Regan was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Blazer SUV northbound and exiting the highway at exit 52 when the SUV hydroplaned and went off the east side of the road. The vehicle struck a highway sign and overturned, coming to rest on its wheels.
The Cameron Fire Department and Cameron Police Department assisted at the scene.
