Interstate 29 Ramp Closures Planned in St. Joseph

ST. JOSEPH - Contractors working with the Missouri Department of Transportation plan to close two on and off ramps on northbound Interstate 29 through St. Joseph on Wednesday, Sept. 30.

The ramp from northbound I-29 to westbound U.S. Route 36 at exit 46B and the ramp from eastbound U.S. Route 36 to northbound I-29 will be closed. In addition, other ramps within the area will have brief lane restrictions. All work will begin after 6 p.m. and all ramps should reopen by 6 a.m. the next morning.

Because this work is highly weather dependent and slow-moving equipment will be traveling between ramp locations, motorists should be extremely alert and follow all construction signs and message boards.

All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change.
