Main Street Board Discusses Holidays

They are holding a Town Hall meeting on November 20 at 6 p.m. and are asking for the community to please come and discuss the exciting upcoming plans and events.

Cameron Main Street, Inc. held their meeting on Wednesday inside The Old School. After approval of minutes from their September 9 meeting they discussed upcoming projects. 

 The newly appointed Board of Directors were welcomed. Jordan Assel, President; Quinten Lovejoy, Vice-President; Carol Dickerson, Treasurer; BJ Reed, Secretary.

 The bulk of the Main Street meeting revolved around the Holidays and upgrading town appearance.

Some of the projects reviewed were in progress already. Prior research and developments from other towns and the materials they used to improve their town. Seasonal flags, stationary or hanging flowerpots, as well as a grant to fund a local business facade remodel were all discussed. 

The group agreed that more town input is desired. They are holding a Town Hall meeting on November 20 at 6 p.m. and are asking for the community to please come and discuss the exciting upcoming plans and events.
