Municipal Band celebrates 150th anniversary

Threatening weather could not put a damper on the 150th Anniversary Concert celebrating the Cameron Municipal Band. Known for its long standing history of musical excellence, the CMB performed for music lovers near and far. Some of the pieces included "Eternal Father, Strong to Save (CT Smith), "The Wizard of Oz" (Arlen and Yarburg/arr. Barnes), the "Armed Forces Salute" (Arr. Lowden), and "Waltzing Winds" (Osterling). Free cake and ice cream were served by the Historical Preservation Society to celebrate the musical milestone.
