Road Work for Northwest Missouri, Oct. 5 - 11

ST. JOSEPH  - The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the five-county area of the northwest Missouri region for the week of Oct. 5 - 11 from the Missouri Department of Transportation. Many projects will include lane closures and delays can be expected.

Buchanan County

Route 116 - Pothole patching, Oct. 5

I-229 - Bridge maintenance, Oct. 5 - 9

U.S. Route 169, Routes 6 and AC - Flushing bridges, Oct. 5 - 9

I-29 - Spraying, Oct. 5 - 9

Routes A, DD, 116 and 371 - Mowing, Oct. 5 - 9

Route 6 - At the I-29 Overpass Bridge; bridge maintenance, Oct. 5 - 9

U.S. Route 36 - CLOSED from the southbound I-229 ramp to 8th Street; bridge maintenance, Oct. 8, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

I-29 - Northbound from 1.5 miles south of Route O to Business Route 71 (Andrew County); resurfacing project, Oct. 5 - 10, 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Night work only. No work will occur Friday nights throughout the duration of this project.

U.S. Route 36 - At the Platte River Bridge; bridge deck replacement, Oct. 5 - 11. Traffic is head to head in the eastbound lanes with a 14-foot width restriction.

I-29 - CLOSED at the southbound I-29 ramp to Route 6; bridge maintenance, Oct. 6, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Caldwell County

Route 116 - From U.S. Route 69 (Clinton County) to Route D; resurfacing project, Oct. 5 - 11. A pilot car will direct motorists through the work zone.

U.S. Route 36 - From NE Des Monies Road to the Hamilton city limits; shoulder repair, Oct. 5 - 7

Route K - CLOSED from U.S. Route 36 to H; culvert replacement, Oct. 6, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Route K - CLOSED from NE Sandstone Drive to Route U; culvert replacement, Oct. 7, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Clinton County

Route V - At the Holt Creek Bridge; bridge maintenance, Oct. 5

Routes N, NN and VV - Mowing, Oct. 5 - 9

Route 33 - Drainage work, Oct. 5 - 9

Route 116 - From U.S. Route 69 to Route D (Caldwell County); resurfacing project, Oct. 5 - 11. A pilot car will direct motorists through the work zone. Temporary signals are in place at the bridge over I-35.

Route K - Pothole patching, Oct. 6 - 7
