Roads closed due to copious amount of rain
The storm system that moved through Missouri Sunday dumped over an inch of rain at many locations and has led to several roads being closed due to rising water.
Precipitation amounts for the 24-hour period ending at 6 a.m. Monday include the following: Amity 1.60; Cameron 1.82; Chillicothe 1.66; Pattonsburg 1.45; Polo 1.80; St. Joseph 1.44.
The following roads in the northwest district are closed, according to the Mo. Dept. of Transportation.

Route 48 on both sides of Rosendale (One Hundred and Two River)
Route C at Route 48 and between Sylvan Street and County Road 177 (One Hundred and Two River)
