Use city website to request services
We are aware that some people are making requests for City services on social media. However, City Hall is not set up to operate continually under that medium. The City does maintain a Facebook presence, but we do not have a staff person to monitor Facebook or other sites on a continual or 24-hour basis.
If you are a user of social media and you get requests on those sites, please direct the person to the City of Cameron web site. Under “e-services,” there is a tab for Request Tracker. This is how we handle those requests. We need a certain amount of documentation on requests, and a means to communicate with the citizen as necessary, and Request Tracker provides that ability.
