Veteran celebrates 32 years in government service
Steve Lee, the supervisor of customer service at the Cameron Postal Office celebrated 32 years of service to his government on August 12 of this year. Lee spent nine years in the Navy and went to work for the post office in 1993, starting in Chillicothe as a city carrier, then becoming a clerk in 1994. In 1998, Lee moved to Jameson to become the postmaster, then to Winston, where he grew up in 2000. When the postal service downsized a few years ago, Lee came to Cameron to work. Lee has been in Cameron for three years and Postmaster Biggerstaff says he is an invaluable member of the postal team. Congratulations to Lee for his 32 years and thank you for your service.
