Alleyne Ross 1915-2016

Cameron…..Alleyne Rose Ross, age 100, was born July 13, 1915 in Turney, MO the daughter of John Robert and Flora (Kimsey) Gentry and passed away March 29, 2016 in Cameron, Missouri.  

On September 18, 1947 in Seattle, Washington, Alleyne and Charles Ross were united in marriage.  One son was adopted to this union.  Alleyne and her husband Charles were small business owners and a member of First Christian Church of Cameron.  

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Ross; son, William Charles Ross; infant brother, Eldon Gentry; brother, Lloyd Gentry; three sisters, Sophia Walker, Leola Gentry, & Verna Martin.

Survivors include two nieces, Dolly Richardson, Cameron and Janice Gaiser, Osborn; two nephews, Bob Martin, Turney and Johnny Walker, Osborn; and special friend, Nina Helm, Cameron.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m Saturday, April 2, 2016 at First Christian Church of Cameron with visitation one hour prior to service at the church.  Burial:  Cameron Memory Gardens.  Services under direction of  Turner Family Funeral Home of Maysville.  Memorial Contributions: Multiple Sclerosis of Kansas City .
