Anthony “Tony” Adam Geib 1970-2017

 

Chillicothe - Anthony “Tony” Adam Geib, age 47, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City.

Tony was born the son of Kenneth and Mary Elberta (Foley) Geib on February 17, 1970, in Fairfax. He was a 1988 graduate of Mound City High School. He then graduated from Missouri State University, Springfield, in 1992 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in International Marketing. Tony was owner/operator of Washington Street Food and Drink Company in Chillicothe, since 1994. He was a member of the Christian Fellowship Church, Mound City.
Survivors include his parents, Kenneth and Elberta Geib of Cameron; one brother, Greg Geib and wife Michele of Trenton; one niece, Kristin Grooms and husband Tyler of Trenton; one great niece, Lila Marie Grooms of Trenton; paternal grandfather, Vernon F. Geib of Cameron; and special friend, Neil Trickey of Kansas City. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Iona Geib; and maternal grandparents; Elbert and Marie Foley.
Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, on Monday, May 8, 2017, at 10 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, on Sunday, May 7, 2017, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, on Sunday, May 7, 2017, from Noon until 8 p.m. Burial will be held at the Craig I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Craig. Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Haven Industries, Inc. and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601. Arrangements are under the direction of Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe.
