Betty Reneau 1936-2016
Clearwater, Kan.- Betty (Vanderpool) Reneau, 80, Clearwater, Kan. went to be with the Lord after a long valiant battle with cancer on Wednesday, December 7, 2016.
Retired A-Lead from Boeing Wichita. She was the 2nd oldest of 8 children born and raised in Kidder.
Preceded in death by her first husband Gene Kennedy and then by her second husband, Tom Reneau; parents, Dorothy and Roy Vanderpool; brothers, Melvin, Jesse and Marvin Vanderpool and son, Larry Kennedy.
She is survived by daughter, Vicki (Rod) Hobert, Clearwater, Kan.; son, Gary (Alana) Kennedy, Wichita, Kan.; daughters, Debbie (Lloyd) Miller, Haysville, Kan. and Cathy (Jeff) Hager, Cheney, Kan.; brothers, John Vanderpool, Anderson, SC and Charles (Wanda) Vanderpool, Humansville; sisters, Evelyn (Von) Hager, Holt, and Elsie Meade, Cameron; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 12, 2016 at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Visitation was at 6-8:00 p.m., Sunday evening at the funeral home. Burial: Kidder Cemetery, Kidder. Memorial Donations: Clearwater Nursing and Rehab, 620 Wood Ave, Clearwater, Kansas 67026.
