Carol L. Fordyce 1932-2015
KIDDER - Carol LaVon (Dale) Fordyce, 83, Kidder, Missouri passed away at home on Friday July 24, 2015.
She was born on January 14, 1932 in Blue Ridge, Mo. to Vilas and Mabel (Ray) Dale.
Carol married Calvin C. Fordyce April 15, 1948 in Trenton, Mo. They were married 67 years.
She was in numerous Extension Clubs, Saddle Clubs along with 4-H Clubs.
She lived in Gilman City, Stewartsville, Osborn and then Kidder since 1978.
Carol helped her husband and parents farm and raise livestock.
She was preceded in death by her husband Calvin Fordyce; three sons; Benton, Ronald and Charles Fordyce; parents, Vilas and Mabel (Ray) Dale; brother, Virgil Dale and one sister.
She is survived by one son, Carl Fordyce, Aurora Nebraska, three daughters LaVeta Barnett (Dalvin), Winston, Janet Banks (Dennis), Cameron, Teresa Fordyce (Danny Nalle) of the home; 9 Grandkids Coty Fordyce (Vicki) of the home, Cara Fordyce of the home, Hillary Banks, Cameron, Dalvin Barnett, Cameron, Carla Charlier (Keith), Blanchard, Iowa, Kevin Banks, Cameron, Colt Banks, Cameron, Henry Nalle (Chrissy), Pattonsburg and Bryan Nalle (Andrea), Albany and 9 great- grandkids.
Memorial Service: 6 p.m., Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m., prior to the service. Inurnment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Keystone Willing Workers 4-H Club in Cameron, Missouri or Hamilton Achievers 4-H Club in Hamilton in her memory.
