Charles T. Hartford 1939 – 2022
CAMERON - Charles Thomas Hartford, 83, of Cameron, passed away November 7, 2022 at his home. Charles was born June 5, 1939 to James E. and Evelyn M. (Wright) Hartford in Cameron.
Charles was a 1957 graduate of Cameron High School. He graduated from the University of Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture. Charles was a sergeant in the Missouri Army National Guard.
Charles farmed his whole life. He loved animals, especially caring for and raising them. He was a good predictor of the weather. Charles enjoyed listening to sports on the radio, especially St. Louis Cardinals Baseball.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Evelyn, and sister, Carolyn Horine.
Charles is survived by his wife, Pamala of the home; stepdaughter, Amanda Gibson; stepson Benjamin and Lyndsi Lebert, Cameron; grandchildren, Kyle, Owen, Emry and Emma; nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Good Shepherd Hospice.
Services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday November 10, 2022 at Poland-Thompson Chapel, Cameron, MO. Visitation 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service. Burial, Evergreen Cemetery, Cameron, MO.
