Colette M. Simpson 1954-2022

CAMERON - Colette Marie Simpson, 67, passed away September 3, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her family.

She was born on December 26, 1954 in Rockford, Illinois to Kenneth and Ellen (Smith) Loney.

Colette was a correctional officer for the Missouri Department of Corrections until retiring.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son Robert Borchardt; grandchildren, Chelsey and Tucker Borchardt; and great granddaughter, Emiah Beck.

Survivors: Husband, David, of the home; children, Jeremy (Melissa) Borchardt, Cameron, Missouri, Christine (Nick) Hatfield, Kansas City, Missouri; step-children, Lindsey Simpson, Blue Springs, Missouri and Josh (Holly) Simpson, Kansas City, Missouri; sister, Debbie (Kenneth) Lee, Venice Beach, Florida; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Celebration of Life: 4-6 PM, Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Turning Point Church, Cameron, Missouri.
