Kansas City – Danny passed away Monday, April 24, 2017. He was born August 14, 1953.
He worked at the MO dept. of corrections for 21 years and was a Case Manager II. He also served his country in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He obtained his Master's Degree from Northwest in Maryville. He was an educator and principal at West Nodaway.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Marjory Swindler Sloan and father Dan E. Sloan. He is survived by his wife, Connie Sloan and son, Daniel Sloan. Services will be held on Saturday, May 6 at 10 a.m. at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO 64119. There will be a brief visitation at 9 a.m. before the funeral. Thanks go out to his family at the department of corrections.
