Donald P. Demas 1936-2018

Cameron- Donald “Don” Philip Demas, 81, passed away on March 14, 2018.

Don was born on May 29, 1936 in Chicago, Ill. to Phil and Millie Demas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Randy and Scott Demas.

Don was a veteran of United States Air Force. Don married Betty Ann King in Kansas City on March 17, 1958, they would have celebrated their 60th anniversary on Saturday, March 17.

He worked as a Communication Superintendent for 40 years at N.W. Electric Cooperative in Cameron before retiring.

Don enjoyed boating and fishing at the lake and spending time with his family.

Survivors include wife of 59 years, Betty Demas, of the home; three daughters, Kellie (Allen) Delancey, Kristie (Ronnie) Calhoon and Robin (Denny) Murphy, all of Cameron; seven grandchildren, Phillip (Felicia) Limb, Holly Limb, Jennifer (Jeremiah) Erickson, Dakota Calhoon, Allison, Adam and Morgan Murphy; eight great-grandchildren; cousin, Terry (Judy) Cecchi, Chicago, Ill.; step-father, Alan Pottle, Chicago, Ill.; and sister-in-law, Geri Demas, Chicago, Ill.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m., prior to the service.

Burial will be at Cameron Memory Gardens, Cameron. Memorial donations to the Missouri Veteran’s Home Assistance League and/or Three Rivers Hospice.
