Donna Gitthens 1922 - 2015
OSBORN - Donna Marie Gitthens, age 93, was born August 21, 1922 in Gallatin, Mo. the daughter of Ralph and Hazel (Linville) McQueen and passed away December 29, 2015 in Cameron, Mo.
January 29, 1946 in Altamont, Missouri, Donna married Virl Gitthens and to this union three children were born. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. Donna was a Christian and she played the guitar and sang at Church.
Her parents; husband, Virl; daughter, Verlene Clemens; granddaughter, Jodi Lynn Gitthens; five brothers, Glen, Carl, Davis, Joe and Jim McQueen; and two sisters, Doris Brewer and Elsie Parton, precede her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Ron Gitthens (Estelle), Cameron, and Terry Gitthens (Idella), Maysville; brother, Harley (Elma) McQueen, Cameron; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Bram-Turner Funeral Home in Maysville.
Visitation: 7- 9 p.m. Friday, January 1 at the funeral home.
