Edwin Lynn “Ed” White 1948 – 2023
OSBORN: Edwin Lynn “Ed” White, 74, Osborn, MO (formerly of King City, MO) passed away Friday, January 13, 2023 in McDonough, Georgia.
He was born September 10, 1948 in King City, MO the son of Kenneth Cecil and Reva Ann (Taylor) White.
On August 16, 1983, he married Cindy Knox in Grove, Oklahoma. She survives of the home.
Ed served in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the First Christian Church in King City, MO and the VFW in St. Joseph, MO. Ed enjoyed playing a round of golf and a good game of pool.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jessica Miller; brother, John White and sister, Judith Norris.
Survivors in addition to his wife, Cindy, are a daughter, Kaycee Ott, Cameron, MO; 5 grandchildren, Kadence, Reed, Riley, Tripp and Jaden; brother, Bob (Kim) White, Audubon, IA; 3 sisters, Vicki (Rick) Rainey, King City, MO, Peggy (Marion) Jacoby, Kearney, MO and Pam (John) Hensley, King City, MO; sister-in-law, Joyce White, Maryville, MO and son-in-law, Correy Miller.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Roberson Funeral Home, King City, MO. Burial with Military Rites will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Osborn, MO. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Edwin White Memorial Fund to be designated later.
