KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI - Ellen Frances Richardson, 78, Kansas City, Mo. passed away on January 18, 2016.
Ellen was born on May 20, 1937 in Cameron, Missouri to Gilford and Emma (Sturgis) Carter.
On December 6, 1952, Ellen married James Richardson in Bentonville, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; two sisters, Josephine Wright and Verna Goldsbury; brother, William G. Carter.
Ellen was a member of Avondale United Methodist Church, Avondale, Mo. and the Red Hat Society.
Survivors: son, Jim (Cecilia) Richardson, Liberty, Mo.; five grandchildren, Jim L., Cynthia, Sarah, Lisa and Emily; five great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothea Young, Kansas City, Mo.; brother-in-law, Jack Richardson, Union Star, Mo.
