Ermit M. Wiedmaier 1927-2017

Cameron - Ermit “Ermie” Martin Wiedmaier, 89, passed away on July 30, 2017 after a short battle with cancer.

Ermie was born November 3, 1927 in St. Joseph, to Herman and Mary (Knieb) Wiedmaier.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Romona (Utt) Wiedmaier and several siblings.

Ermie was a member of the St. Munchin Catholic Church, Cameron and the Carpenter’s Union Local 110.

Survivors include two sons, Ron (Debbie) Wiedmaier, Cameron and John Wiedmaier, Excelsior Springs; two daughters, Phyllis Wiedmaier, Cameron and JoAnn (Bob) Linn, Kansas City; brother, Bill Wiedmaier, Effingham, Kan.; sister, Pat Oswald, Effingham, Kan.; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 3, 2017 at St. Munchin Catholic Church, Cameron. Rosary will be held at  6:30 p.m., with visitation following from 7 - 8:30 p.m., Wednesday evening at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Burial will be at St. Munchin Catholic Cemetery, Cameron.
