G. Loretta Willits 1930-2016

Gallatin- Gladys “Loretta” Willits, 86, passed away on January 7, 2017.

Gladys was born on June 13, 1930 in Cameron, to Johnie and Blanche (Carter) Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Charles and Steven.

Gladys was a 1948 graduate of Cameron High School. She was a member of the First Christian Church.

Survivors: 4 sons, Johnie Willits, Wayne Willits, Donald Willits, Weatherby, and Robert Willits, St. Joseph; sister, Goldie Jewell, Braymer; 6 grandchildren, Stephanie Dvorak, Johnie Willits, Jr., Charles Willits, Mary McGinnley, Edward Willits and Stephen Westbrook; 7 great-grandchildren.

Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Poland-Thompson Chapel, Cameron. Visitation was from1 - 2 p.m., prior to the service. Burial: Alta Vista Cemetery, Weatherby.
