Harold A. Gooding, Jr., "Butch"1947-2019Harold A. Gooding, Jr., “Butch”, 71, of Centralia died Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at the University Hospital in Columbia. Harold was born on August 20, 1947 in Daviess County, MO the son of Harold A., Sr., and Norma (Prouty) Gooding. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law, Jill Gooding, brother-in-law, Wayne Morrison.Harold was a longtime member of the Whitetails Unlimited, Ducks Unlimited, and the National Wild Turkey Federation. He was also a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, and the Corvette Club. He was an avid outdoorsman, loving to hunt, golf, go boating and water skiing at the Lake of the Ozarks, and he enjoyed riding snow mobiles, and four wheelers with his brothers. Harold married Betty (King) Campbell on March 12, 2004 in Centralia, and she survives. Along with his wife Betty, Harold is survived by his children, Angie Baker (Mike) of Columbia, Grant Gooding (Stacey) of Lees Summit, Michael Gooding (Rachel) of Lees Summit, Annie Jennings of Kansas City, Brad Imes ( Michele) of Grand Prairie, TX, Brian Imes of Kansas City, Kristie Wilson (Steve) of Hallsville, Robyn Campbell of Columbia, Michael Campbell ( Caitlin) of Centralia, Kassie Campbell of Centralia; 20 grandchildren; siblings, Danny Gooding (Susan) of Raymore, MO, Darlene Morrison-Cullen (Bill) of Altamont, MO, Phil Gooding (Rita) of Kearney.Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Fenton Funeral Chapel in Centralia, with Fr. Mike Coleman officiating.Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral chapel.A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Sunday, January 6, 2019 at the Cameron Memory Gardens in Cameron, MO.In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested to UMHC Development, Stop The Bleed, in care of Fenton Funeral Chapel, 104 S.
