James L. Curtis 1926-2016
James L. Curtis, 90, died Friday, June 24, 2016 at Kansas City VA Medical Center.
A Memorial service will be held at the Cameron Nutrition Center, 315 E. Third St., Cameron, Thursday, June 30, at 7:00 PM.
James was born in Cameron January 17, 1926, the son of John Curtis and Stacy Curtis, both deceased.
James was a realtor in Cameron for many years. He served in the US Navy and was a proud veteran of WWII.
He is survived by daughters Pamela Curtis, Angela Curtis Helm, Becky Poland, and Barbara Heene, and son Brad Curtis. He has one surviving brother, Charles Curtis. James is survived by 19 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters Dorothy Curtis and Helen Walker and brothers Paul Curtis and C.J.Curtis.
