James R. Gallup 1937-2020

Cameron, Missouri- James Richard Gallup, 83, passed away July 5, 2020.

He was born February 18, 1937 in Kansas City, Missouri to James and Anna (Richards) Gallup.

James was a United States Army veteran. His time served and the friends he made during this time meant a lot to him. He talked of it often. After the service he was a welder for Blue Scope in Kansas City before his retirement.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Katherine Ward; and brother in law, Jack Rinehart.

Survivors: wife, Shirley (Holcomb) Gallup, Cameron, Missouri; sister, Delores Rinehart, Holden, Missouri; sons, Timothy Gallup, Bubby Gallup and Chris Gallup; and daughter, Kelly Gallup.

Military Funeral Honors with Interment: 11:00 AM, July 16, 2020 at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas.
