John W. Bourland 1928-2017

Cameron- John “Jack” William Bourland, 89, passed away on December 2, 2017.

Jack was born on September 8, 1928 in Saginaw, Mich. to John and Olive (Van-Y) Bourland.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Mary Jo Bennett; grandson, Richard Bourland and numerous siblings.

He was a veteran of the United States Army. He then worked as a truck driver, before retiring.

On November 18, 1950, Jack married Beulah Powell in Pinninconing, Mich.

Survivors include wife of 67 years, Beulah Bourland, of the home; two daughters, Susan (Bob) Robinson and Molly Bourland, Cameron; son, Randy (Sheri) Bourland, Houghton Lake, Mich.; brother, Robert Bourland, Escanaba, Mich.; sister, Joanne Westendorf, Saginaw, Mich.; 14 grandchildren; several great-and great-great-grandchildren; aunt, Leda Woodward, West Branch, Mich.

Services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., prior to the service. Cremation to follow the service. Inurnment at a later date in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Bay City, Mich.
