Lane G. Welchel 2002-2017

Cameron - Lane Grey Welchel, 15, passed away on December 22, 2017.

Lane was born April 8, 2002 in Kansas City, Missouri to Thomas and Susan (Kirk) Welchel.

He was a freshman at Cameron High School.

Survivors include mother and step-father, Susan Welchel and Jeff King, of the home; father, Thomas Welchel, Breckenridge; five sisters, Emma King, of the home, Becca Wiseman, Elgin, Ill., Raven Welchel, Omaha, Neb., Anastasia Wathan, Independence, and Denise Kamm, Kearney; two brothers, Caleb Welchel and Ian Welchel, Omaha, Neb.; maternal grandparents, Bill and Mona Kirk, Independence; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He will be missed and loved by many.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Restoration Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ, Cameron. Visitation will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Friday evening at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Cremation will follow the service. Private Family Inurnment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Poland-Thompson Funeral Home for expenses.
