Lawrence L. Edwards 1930-2016

Grand Junction, CO.-Lawrence Lynn Edwards, 85, Grand Junction, CO. passed away on March 24, 2016.

Lawrence was born on November 2, 1930 in Hamilton to Isaac Edwards and Grace (Lewis) Edwards.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Wilford, Donald,Sr., and Isaac Wray; sisters, Dorothy Larson,  Jean Ridenour, and Goldie Pesikan.

Lawrence was a 1948 graduate of Winston High School.  He served in the US Army from 1951 to 1953.  Lawrence worked as a cowboy in his earlier years and later became self-employed as a backhoe operator in Grand Junction, CO.

Survivors: brother, Kenneth Edwards, Fayetteville, PA; sisters, Lily Bigley, Vernon, CT and Jewel King, St. Joseph; Numerous nephews and nieces; Many friends in Colorado that was as close as family.

Graveside services: 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, located southeast of Hamilton on state road U.
