Madge Baker 1927-2016

Madge Baker passed away to the hands of our loving Savior on December 26, 2016 at the age of 89.  

Madge was born in Blytheville, Arkansas on November 14, 1927.  She graduated from Blytheville High School then went on to have a career as a telephone operator.

Madge was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, James D. Baker, her father, Birdie Vastbinder, and her mother, Della Forbes.  

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jimmye and Terry Brizendine, of Cameron, and daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Francis Russell, of East Lynne; Grandchildren, Mandy and Mike Klenk, Mike and Jennifer Russell, and Molly and Matt Brackeen; Great-Grandchildren, Jackson and Lillian Klenk, James and London Russell, and Matthew Brackeen Jr.

A private celebration of life was held in her loving memory; she was interred at the Lee’s Summit Historical Cemetery in Lee’s Summit.
