Mark Allan Schroeder 1956 – 2018
Kansas City - Mark Allan Schroeder, 62, passed away on Wednesday April 4, 2018. Mark was born January 21, 1956 to parents Charles and Lois Schroeder.
He graduated from the UMKC School of Medicine in 1980. He completed his residency program in Charleston, W.V. Mark later went on to become a member of the medical staff at Liberty Hospital beginning in December of 1983 and served through June of 2012. He was Chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine in 1985 and Chairman of the Professional Affairs Committee at Liberty Hospital. Also, he was a certified member of the American Board of Internal Medicine. In 2012, he joined the IPC Hospitalist Company until his retirement in June of 2016.
Mark was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. However, Sundays were reserved for NASCAR or reading. If you asked Mark, he was a Master of the Grill.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda; two daughters, Molly and Alice; one stepdaughter, Tara (Chris) and their children, Gavin and Aniston; one stepson, Steven (Stacy) and their children, Kate and Austin and one brother, Eric (Mary Lou) and their children Megan and Brian. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Mark's Life was conducted on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Church-Archer-Pasley Funeral Home, Liberty, Missouri.
