R. Lavonne Harle 1939-2016. Lewis D. Harle 1941-2019

R. Lavonne Harle, 77, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2016 in her home in Cameron. 

She was born in Wagoner, OK, May 3,1939 to Arlie Ellis Staten and Margaret Geneva Staten.

Lavonne was raised in Arizona and graduated from Marana High School. 

On April 12, 1975, Lavonne married Lewis Dean Harle.

She was a stay at home mom until her kids were older. She attended all their events and was very active in their school and social lives.

Lavonne spent her professional career in the convenience store business with great success.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Barney, Jack and Buddy Staten; sisters Betty Jean, Judy and Bonnie Lou; grandson, Jeremy Fields.

Survivors: daughters, Nancy (Jason) Messer and Becky (Daniel) Mills; sons, Charles (Carol) Fields, Jeff (Barb) Fields, and Chris Harle; brother Mick (Cathy) Staten. She fostered her niece, Janet Burkhart, and great-nieces Jennifer Dickson and Chrystal Mousseau. She left behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and we miss her dearly. She will always be with us. She requested before her passing to be buried with her husband Lewis.

 

Lewis Dean Harle age 77, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2019 at Redwood of Cameron Nursing Home. He was born in Braymer MO on December 2, 1941 to George Douglas Harle and Orpha Janet Earley “Peg”.

Lewis grew up in Cowgill and attended Polo High School. He enlisted in the US Airforce after school and was stationed in Great Falls MT where he was a Refueler Tech. He worked at Ford Motor Company, on the assembly line and retired after 32 years. He was active in the Masons Lodge and the Lions Club where he served as Governor for a year and President of the Leader Dog for the Blind Program for a year. He enjoyed bowling, softball, fishing, and golf, and coached many baseball teams over the years. He married R. Lavonne Staten Fields April 12, 1975. He is preceded in death by his wife Lavonne, his parents, and his 3-year-old daughter Dena. He is survived by his son Christopher, 2 step-sons, Chuck (Carol) Fields, and Jeff (Barb) Fields, step-daughter, Becky (Daniel) Mills, fostered niece, Janet (David) Burkhart and 2 great-nieces, Jennifer (Martin Niehaus) Dickson and Chrystal Mousseau. He will always be in our hearts.

Visitation is 1 p.m., Sat. April 20, 2019 with a memorial service following at 2 p.m. at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Inurnment: Cowgill Cemetery, Cowgill.
