Robert R. Wilcox 1935 - 2015
CAMERON - Robert “Bob” Ray Wilcox, 80, Cameron, passed away July 8, 2015.
Bob was born on April 12, 1935 in Cameron, Missouri to John Robert and Helen (Smith) Wilcox. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Ione (Farmer) Wilcox; sister, Naomi Walton; two grandchildren, Bonnie and Vincent Wilcox.
Bob was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Cameron; Boy Scouts Troop; Tribe of Mic-O-Say and American Legion Elmer Ellis Post #33.
On June 9, 1971, Bob married Lynette Young in Salt Lake City, Utah. She survives of the home.
Additional survivors: four sons, Bill (Beverly) Wilcox, Cameron, Jim (Paula) Wilcox, Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Michael (Kari) Wilcox, Hamilton, Mo., Daniel (Sarah) Wilcox, Trenton, Mo.; daughter, Rebecca (Jess) Amos, Salem, Iowa; two brothers, James (Donna) Wilcox, Cameron, Homer (Judy) Wilcox, Kirkwood, Mo.; sister, Mary Carolyn Miller, Kansas City, Mo.; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held July 13, 2015 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Cameron, Mo. Burial: Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas.
