Ronald L. Asher 1973-2016

Ronald L. Asher, 73, of Kidder, and formerly of Hannibal, passed away at 2:15 PM Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Cameron Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Cameron.

Arrangements for cremation are under direction of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.  A memorial service will be pending.

Ronald was born June 21, 1943, in Jamesport to Paul L. and Helen Hope Miles Asher.

He was married to Dora F. Caverty.  She survives.

Other survivors include 1 son, Michael L. Asher (Tatiana) of Sugar Hill, Ga., 2 brothers, William Asher (Donita) of Winston and Richard Asher (Cindy) of Hamilton, 1 sister, Sharon King (Linden) of Kidder, 2 grandchildren, Filipp Asher and Roswyn Asher and several nieces and nephews.
 

He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Robert Lewis Asher, 1 infant half-brother Gary Lee Woods and 2 infant nephews.

Ronald was a United States Navy Veteran.  He worked as a ship builder in Mobile, Ala.  Ronald enjoyed reading and woodworking.  He was a Protestant by faith.
