Sandra M. Garr 1938-2017
Cameron - Sandra Mae Garr, 79, passed away on October 4, 2017.
Sandra was born on October 2, 1938 in Cameron, to Russell Glen and Leona (Stark) Frost.
She was a 1956 graduate of Cameron High School. She worked as a Claims Examiner for Cameron Insurance Company.
Sandra was a member and served as a priest of Community of Christ Church, Cameron.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rex; son, Mark; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Sandra was a volunteer at nursing homes and assisted living centers. She loved being with her grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons, Richard (Cindy) Garr, St. Joseph and Steven (Beth) Garr, Plattsburg; daughter-in-law, Teresa Garr (Russ Hemme), St. James; 15 grandchildren; niece, Judy Hamm, Kansas City.
Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, October 22, 2017 at the Community of Christ, Cameron. Visitation will be held from 2-3 p.m., prior to the service. Inurnment: Graceland Memorial Cemetery, Cameron. Memorial fund: Community of Christ and/or Camp Quality. Mrs. Garr has been cremated under the direction of Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron.
