Seth Glen Hane

Seth Glen Hane 1984 – 2024

Seth Glen Hane, 39, Bentonville, Arkansas passed away unexpectedly on July 12,

2024 at Mercy Hospital Northwest in Rogers, AR from a sudden medical condition,

leaving behind a void that can never be filled.

Seth was born on October 15, 1984 in St. Joseph, MO to Sherris A. (Snyder) Hane

and late Daryl L. Hane. Even though he was taken from us too soon, in his short

39 years, Seth touched many lives and made a lasting impact on all who had the

good fortune to know him. With his towering stature and warm, friendly

demeanor, he had a presence that lit up any room. Seth had a way of making

everyone feel welcomed and loved. His infectious laugh and smile could brighten

even the darkest of days.

His greatest joy in life was his family. As a loving husband, he cherished every

moment spent with his wife, Amy, who he adored beyond measure. Seth and

Amy built a beautiful life together in Bentonville, Arkansas with their two

daughters, Clara and Ellington, who were the lights of Seth’s life. Whether goofing

around at home or supporting them with their activities, Seth was an unwavering

presence in all of their lives.

Beyond his roles as a husband and father, he enjoyed traveling, golfing, pheasant

hunting, sports, cooking, spending time with friends and family, and amassing an

impressive sneaker collection that would rival any Footlocker.

In his earlier years, Seth was a multi-sport high school athlete, excelling in

football, basketball and baseball. He graduated from Cameron R-I High School in

2003 and went on to attend Missouri Western State University, where he started

at linebacker for the MWSU Griffon football team for three years of his collegiate

playing career, earning post season honors. Seth graduated in 2008 with a

Bachelor’s of Science degree, majoring in biology. After completing college, Seth

pursued a career in the insurance industry where he excelled as a property claims

adjuster.

Seth is survived by his wife Amy, daughters Clara and Ellington; mother, Sherris

Hane of Cameron, MO; sister, Cora (Betsey) Seymour and husband, Preston, of

Rifle, CO; brother, Joel Hane and wife, Margaret and their daughter, Maeve of St.

Joseph, MO; maternal grandmother, Ellyn Snyder of Hamilton, MO; in-laws Bob

and Emily (LaForge) Borovetz; sister-in-law, Julie Vaughan and husband Chris and

their daughter Margot; brother-in-law, Brock Borovetz and wife Elena; and

numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daryl Hane and grandparents, C. Glen

Hane, Helen M. Hane Durbin and E. Clayton Snyder.

Seth’s memory will not only live on through those who knew and loved him, but

will continue to live through others as he was an organ donor.

Services will be held at the Cameron United Methodist Church on Saturday, July

20, 2024. Further service information will be available on the Poland-Thompson

website.
