CHS Tuesday Sports Wrap

The Cameron girl’s golf team came in tenth place at the Lawson Invitational. CHS posted a team score of 547. Abby Ourth came in 45th place for the Lady Dragons with a 127.

The girl’s tennis team lost at Benton, 6-3. Morgan Choate and Taylor Richardson both won their singles matches and combined for the win at number one doubles.

The softball team lost at Chillicothe, 5-0. Moriah Rogers had two hits of Cameron’s six hits in the game. Pitcher Olivia Nelson gave up seven hits with two strikeouts.

The CHS volleyball squad dispatched Hamilton, 2-0, at Hamilton. Game scores were 25-11 and 25-9. Eastin McDowell had nine kills, Maddie Garr had nine assists and Alex Ewald, Mattie Chaney, Claudia McIntire, Shay Jones and Garr each had three digs for CHS.
