CHS Wednesday sports wrap

The Cameron boy’s cross country team came in fifth place at the Chillicothe Invitational Wednesday.

The Dragons scored 135 points. Bishop LeBlond won the team title with 66 points followed by Chillicothe with 82.

Leading the way for the Dragons was Sam Evans, who came in third place with a time of 17:43.

In the girl’s race, Nicole Jackson finished in 10th place with a time of 22:05.

The Cameron girl’s tennis team came in sixth place in the Cameron Tournament Wednesday.

CHS scored six points. Warrensburg edged Platte County for the team title, 14.5 to 14.

Morgan Choate finished fourth in the singles for the Lady Dragons.
