Dragon volleyball defeats Penney, takes third in tourney

Stat leaders for the game include Sophomore Maddie Garr with 6 aces, Sophomore Paige Harper with 8 kills and 2 blocks, Senior Alex Ewald with 2 assists and 5 digs, and Senior Hannah Robinson with 6 digs.

“I thought the girls played a good game tonight. We have struggled some this season with keeping our focus when we have a significant lead. This is something that we have been working on in practice.  I thought we did an excellent job of staying mentally tough even though the pace of the game was considerably slower than what we typically see.  We were able to keep our errors to a minimum and get the job done,” stated Ewald.
