Dragons get first win of season

The Cameron Dragons notched their first win of the basketball season with a 47-33 victory over Pattonsburg at the CHS gym Tuesday night.
The Dragons led, 30-17, at the half.
Parker Whitacre scored a game-high 16 points to lead CHS. Kyler Hill added ten points. Andrew Pratt and Parker McGinnis scored seven points apiece. Jaxson Frazier added five points and Dre Dickerson scored two.
Wyatt Dinwiddie led the Panthers with 11 points and Peyton Jones scored eight.
CHS will cap a three-game homestand to start the season when they host the Richmond Spartans Friday night.
