Dragons snap losing skid
Andrew Pratt poured in 22 points and the Cameron Dragons ended a five-game losing streak with a 60-57 win over Trenton Tuesday night at CHS.
Cameron held a 29-25 lead at the half and extended their advantage to 42-31 going into the fourth quarter. The Bulldogs pulled to within three points with under ten seconds to play but Parker Whitacre made two free throws with four seconds left to put CHS up 60-55. Trenton scored a basket at the buzzer for the final margin.
The Dragons were eight of 14 from the foul line in the fourth quarter.
Kyler Hill added 16 points for the Dragons. Jaxson Frazier scored eight points and Whitacre and Parker McGinnis finished with seven points each.
Brice Dillon scored 18 points for the Bulldogs. Corbyn Guile added 14 and Cree Mullenix and Connor Cotton had ten points each.
Cameron will host Chillicothe in their final regular season game Friday night.
