Lady Dragon golfers remain undefeated
With three tournaments under their belts, the Cameron High School Lady Dragon Golf Team remains unblemished after taking the Lawson Girls Golf Tournament by 19 strokes.
The Lady Dragons finished first overall as a team with 364 strokes. Lexi Hutton and Abbie Linehart paved their path to the championship after the pair tied for second place with both shooting an 87.
“The girls are playing really well this year. This is the third tournament they have gotten first at and so far we are undefeated,” Cameron coach Megan Wolfe said.
Kennedy Roach tied for sixth after shooting a 90, Hailee Williams took 12 (100) and Katie Rooney took 15th (105).

Veterans Memorial
In their first home match of the season, the Lady Dragons demolished the Maryville Lady Spoofhounds by 74 strokes. Rooney finished first among Cameron competitors with a 45, followed by Williams and Linehart’s (48), then Hutton (49) and Roach (52).
