Lady Dragons stay undefeated with 25-stroke blowout

The Cameron Lady Dragons may have benefited from a bit of home-field advantage after trouncing their nearest competitor, Savannah, by 25 strokes to take Monday’s triangular.

The Lady Dragons shot a 185 overall to take the triangular featuring Lawson and Midland Empire Conference foe Savannah to remain undefeated on the season.

Abbie Linehart took first overall after shooting a 43, followed by Lexi Hutton (45) for second, then Kennedy Roach (45) who took third. Hailee Williams tied for fifth place (50) and sophomore Lydia Peterson finished seventh (51) and Katie Rooney rounded out the top 10 after shooting a 57.

The Lady Dragons return to the links Thursday for a tournament in Chillicothe.
